Doubting Yourself Is A Waste Of Time

Above quote by yours truly, it applies to almost all my life coaching and success clients' stories.

"Don't forget, while you're busy doubting yourself, someone else is admiring your strength." A wonderful quote by Kristen Butler came to mind the other day when I was on my 1-hour walk. 

Look, most skills on Earth if not all, are trainable. 

Some of the greatest achievements happened when people decided to practise and train. Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps (why are they all called Michael LOL?), Alicia Keys, Lori Greiner, Barbara Corcoran, Sara Blakely, maybe YOU!, and the list goes on and on and on... When I brought up these examples in the past, people (who don't believe much in themselves) would say things like, "Oh but that's luck!" 

Would I say screw you on my own blog? Probably. One life, live it. Screw you, it's not luck. What I mean by that is screw your stuck and ignorant thinking (change it, make it better). Have the curiosity, earnesty and respect to actually go understanding these people's lives in depth, before you put down DECADES of effort and struggle to "luck". You're being flippant, and for lack of fantastic words, you're being an absolute, ignorant, idiot.

To prove that it isn't luck, to people who think this way, I brought up my own example several times. I have worked, built, and excelled at things I was first an absolute beginner in... and then done some pretty commendable things over time. I mean, as far as success goes, I was featured in "Successful People In Singapore" by Britishpedia, in 2023. I didn't even know they existed before that, so no, I didn't buy my way in, or "pitch to the editors". Complete strangers observed what I was doing and went, "Ok, this guy is achieving success through his efforts." 

So yeah... I must just be "lucky". 

So now, if absolute beginners keep achieving the things you want to over, and over, and over again through changes in behaviour, actions, and thoughts... why not you sweetie pie?
