What An Addiction Can Be...

A lot of us know that we have addictions, but we don't necessarily see them as a problem because we don't know what that addiction actually means. There’s a reason why all addictions exist. There’s something underneath it. Not just the addictiveness of the addictive substance itself.

If you want to find out more, you can ask yourself the following questions:

Ask yourself, “Why do I need this in my life constantly?” 

Then ask yourself, “When do I need this in my life usually?”

Then ask yourself, “What would happen if u don’t take this today?”

Slowly write everything down. Take days if you need to. Take months. Take your own inventory. Then try staying away from your addiction for maybe a day. If you can’t, try it for 12 hours. Then 13. Then 14. Then 15. Be brave. Be firm. All progress is good progress.

You are your best friend. Or your worst enemy. My take - be the best friend version.
